The Cambridge button is a classic ring edge, but has a beveled centre. The button is made from Codelite® which is a protein element which naturally occurs in milk. It is cured for several weeks and hardens into rods or sheets and then ‘turned’ (cut) into hard wearing, durable buttons. These semi translucent mock tortoise shell patterned buttons are ideal for suiting, coats and knitted garments. Each button has a unique pattern, are biodegradable, sustainable, compostable and of course plastic-free.
