Family:  Dogbane (Apocynaceae) Hardy to Zones 10 to 12, best grown as a potted plant.  Protect from frost. (Desert Rose)  Caudiciform perennial native to South Sahara, Sahel, East and South Africa, Arabia and especially the island of Socotra.
