VIN Lock Notice: OBD Genie programmers are locked to the VIN number of the vehicle they are installed in. This ensures that the program cannot be stolen and used on another vehicle. International Vehicles: OBD Genie products are designed for vehicles made in the United States. However, certain international vehicles can still use our products. If your vehicle was made outside the United States, please call 253-297-4570 before purchasing. Third-Party Devices: Ensure that no third-party devices such as scanners or performance enhancement devices are plugged into the vehicle while installing the OBD Genie (BullyDog, SCT, etc). After the OBD Genie displays a green light, it is safe to remove it and plug the third-party device(s) back into the vehicle. Not a Maintenance Item. This product is not a maintenance item and will not fix a broken vehicle. If your vehicle is broken, either in its hardware or computer system, please contact your local dealership or mechanic shop.
